The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority says concerns about flooding have eased in most of its watershed.
Last week's rain and warm temperatures combined to melt the deep snow pack covering the area and resulted in some of the most serious flooding in years.
The NVCA area includes the Pretty River Valley portion of The Blue Mountains.
The Authority says a few watercourses were still rising as of Monday but others, including those in the Pretty River area, are in decline and further problems are not anticipated.
The NVCA added, however that dangerous conditions still persist along river and stream banks.
"Slippery, unstable stream banks and cold water temperatures can lead to hazardous conditions close to any water body," the NVCA warned.
"Parents and caregivers are especially reminded to alert children of the dangers that exist around water bodies at this time."
