Grey County OPP is investigating a break, enter and theft in which $2,000 worth of recording equipment was taken from a Grey Highlands residence.

Police say an outbuilding in the rear lot of a rural residence on the Osprey-Artemesia Line between the 10th Concession and Fenwick Lane was entered sometime between midnight and 8 a.m. on April 6.

The building housed a recording studio and about $2,000 worth of associated equipment, including a microphone, Bose headphones, Kramer electric guitar, amplifier, symbols and stands, and drum parts, was taken.

Anyone with information that might assist police is asked to contact Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers. Constable Stephen Whitehouse is the investigating officer.
