Beaver Valley Community School's Cobras struck gold, recently, at the North East District boys basketball tournament.
The Cobras, who hosted the tourney, sent three rivals packing as they counted a trio of victories to claim top spot. The BVCS squad advances to the regional competition in Owen Sound, on Saturday, April 5.
The wins moved the Cobras season record to eight wins against no losses.
