An altercation with a doorman at a Blue Mountain Resort nightspot led to a public intoxication charge against a Toronto man early Friday.

The Blue Mountains OPP said an officer patrolling in the area, about 2 a.m., Friday, came along as the man was being escorted out of the bar by the doorman.

The man and the doorman got into a scuffle and, police said, the customer was arrested. He was taken to the Colllingwood OPP detachment office and held overnight.

Police charged a 35-year-old Toronto man with being intoxicated in a public place.
