Two young offenders have been arrested and are facing charges following a spate of snowboard thefts at Blue Mountain Resort.
Police said The Blue Mountains OPP Property Crime Unit and Blue Mountain Resort Security worked together to arrest the suspects. Resort Security saw the pair stealing numerous snowboards from ski racks. They were able to identify them and contacted the OPP who made the arrests.
Police say they recovered about $3,000 worth of stolen property.
The suspects will appear in court in Owen Sound in April.
The OPP are reminding skiers to lock up their equipment when leaving snowboards and skis unattended.
