A spate of vehicle break-ins have prompted The Blue Mountains OPP to warn car owners to lock their vehicles.

The OPP say they've received several reports of vehicles being entered and items taken in The Blue Mountains and Colllingwood. The incidents occurred between Friday, Feb. 8 and Monday, Feb. 11.

Police advise motorists and their passengers to lock their vehicles and remove valuables if leaving the vehicle unattended.

Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or The Blue Mountains OPP at 705-445-4321.
