Stolen boards recovered in Barrie

Collingwood OPP have located five stolen snowboards and have arrested two people in connection with the thefts.

The OPP Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant in Barrie, and located five snowboards and three sets of bindings. These snowboards were stolen from ski resorts in the Collingwood and Barrie areas.

Two people were charged. One of the accused is a youth and therefore can't be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The second accused is an adult, however his identity is not being released to protect the identity of the accused youth.
