"There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million." - Walt Streightiff
The L.E. Shore Memorial Library and the Arts Advisory Council proudly welcomes the Bay School of Art Children's Masterpieces Art Show, an exhibition featuring multimedia works from children and youth working out of the Bay School of Art in Collingwood. The opening reception, with artists in attendance, will be held on Saturday, February 6 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.
The Bay School of Art provides a variety of art classes for all age groups and different levels of ability. There is a Kinder Arts program for pre-school aged children, an after school program for elementary age school children, teens and for those who wish to prepare a portfolio for Art College or university. The class sizes are small in order to provide participants with as much one on one time as possible, and the teachers are passionate about their subject.
Children's Masterpieces is on exhibit from February 6 to 28, during regular library hours. The L.E. Shore Library is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 11a.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 4p.m. For more information about this exhibit please contact the L.E. Shore Memorial Library in Thornbury at 519-599-3681.
