National Ski Academy skier and Clarksburg resident, Shannon Campbell won first for slalom and silver in giant slalom and fourth in the final giant slalom at the recent 2010 Miele Ontario International Ski Federation (FIS) Championships.
Campbell was named overall women's winner, and a Collingwood resident, Morgan Megarry of the Ontario Ski Team took the overall men's winner title.
The race events concluded January 26 at Georgian Peaks Ski Club.
"Racing at home always feels good," said Campbell. "I haven't felt great all season long ... now I've had more time to train ... I have to work on finding more speed - that comes down to confidence and it is slow progress but this was a great series."
FIS racing returns to Ontario at the end of February with GMC Cup slalom races at Camp Fortune and GMC Cup giant slalom at Georgian Peaks.
