Wayne McCausland, 56, died from injuries, and two other people were taken to Grey Bruce Health Services with serious injuries.

Grey County said in a press release the crash occurred east of the hamlet of Keady, southwest of Owen Sound.

The collision occurred just before 7 p.m. when a medium sized dual wheeled Hino delivery truck, southbound on Concession 5, collided with a Dodge pickup truck that was eastbound on Grey Road 16. Both vehicles came to rest off the roadway after the impact.

Traffic control at the intersection consists of stop signs northbound and southbound traffic.

Police say the driver of the delivery truck, Weihui ZHANG, 26, of Toronto, and a 51 year-old male passenger were taken to Grey Bruce Health Services-Owen Sound for treatment. The passenger’s injuries were life threatening but his condition was stabilized during

treatment last night.

The investigation is continuing and while investigators have spoken to motorists who arrived on the scene after the collision, they want to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have other information that might assist in the investigation.
