The clotheslines project seems ok because people will be able to save money and energy.

For us, it is not a new thing; even in the winter we hang clothes in the basement. If Georgian Triangle Earth Days Celebrations want to use their donated monies to sponsor this, good for them. The problem is using tax dollars for their program. The idea is good - but use your own money.
