The Beaver Valley Peewee baseball team played only one game last week, due to a rain out on Monday, June 8th.
They travelled to Orillia on Wednesday, June 10th to face the Orillia #1 team. The bench was a little short as the seventh graders were in Ottawa. Unfortunately, the game became very one sided as the Orillia #1 team struggled to get three outs in the second Inning, allowing Beaver Valley to score 23 runs before the inning finally came to an end. Beaver Valley batted well with every team member recording a hit. Eric Holmes hit two doubles; Izahia Godmer and Nathan Lennox each hit one double. Pitchers for the game were Izahia, Tyler Robertson and Jake Thomas. Runs were scored by Tyler (5), Mike Postma (6), Tyson Pendleton (5), Eric (6), Nathan (5), Cody O'Donnell (4), Jake (3) and Izahia (5). The final score was Beaver Valley - 39, Orillia #1 -11. The Peewee's next home game is Monday June 22 at 6:30 pm as they host Ivy.
