Friends of the Library Sunday Evening Concerts, at the Rotary Harbour Pavilion. Allan Johnson - July 20th; Mary Rowan - August 10th. All concerts begin at 7 pm.

Saturday, July 19

You are invited to attend the launch of our campaign to raise awareness of Family Health Centres to be built in The Blue Mountains & Meaford at The Blue Mountains Municipal Offices, 25 Bridge St., Thornbury, Saturday, July 19, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This family fun event will feature a Military Field Hospital from LFCA TC Meaford, Steve Diver's Band, Georgian Sound, fire trucks, OPP demonstration and much more. Free hamburgers & soft drinks. Beer and Wine Tent

The Meaford Harbour 5K Run will be held on Saturday, July 19th, at 9:00 a.m. sharp.  Registration on race day is from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.  Application and pledge forms can be found on the Meaford Hospital Foundation website at www.mhfoundation.ca or at several locations in Meaford, Thornbury and Collingwood. New this year: donate $10 and take a stroll around the harbour.

Events in the Park Series featuring -  Snakes, Saturday July 19 at Hibou Conservation Area starting at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. This is a FREE Family Event.

Quilts in My Garden - 7 gardens in Meaford and area will be full of beautiful quilts, using wonderful gardens as a backdrop. This event will appeal to so many. Quilters, gardeners, nature lovers and fibre artists. The Quilts are of such a variety that many of the gardens and the quilts are "themed" for example, Childrens' Christmas Stars. So come visit 10 a.m. - 4p.m. Our hard work will only pay of when we see you.

The Meaford Legion presents Music for Young Minds at 7 p.m.  Guests include Blackheart Emma, Obeying the Call, For Folksake, Helice, Mike & Sylvie Weir.  All ages welcome.  $5.00 at the door.  Lounge open for 19+

Meaford Municipal  Farmers' Market, 3 to 8 pm., Meaford Harbour. A special elastic bead  bracelet craft by Cecile's Bead Shop. .Toy Table by Union St Solutions;  Buskers by Kerry's Computers. A friends and family event.
