You are invited to attend the launch of our campaign to raise awareness of Family Health Centres to be built in The Blue Mountains & Meaford at The Blue Mountains Municipal Offices, 25 Bridge St., Thornbury, Saturday, July 19, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This family fun event will feature a Military Field Hospital from LFCA TC Meaford, Steve Diver's Band, Georgian Sound, fire trucks, OPP demonstration and much more. The Meaford Harbour 5K Run will be held on Saturday, July 19th, at 9:00 a.m. sharp. Registration on race day is from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. Application and pledge forms can be found on the Meaford Hospital Foundation website at www.mhfoundation.ca or at several locations in Meaford, Thornbury and Collingwood. New this year: donate $10 and take a stroll around the harbour.

Quilts in My Garden - 7 gardens in Meaford and area will be full of beautiful quilts, using wonderful gardens as a backdrop. This event will appeal to so many. Quilters, gardeners, nature lovers and fibre artists. The Quilts are of such a variety that many of the gardens and the quilts are "themed" for example, Childrens' Christmas Stars. So come visit 10 a.m. - 4p.m. Our hard work will only pay of when we see you.
