The annual service for the Rock Union Church will be held Sunday, July 13, beginning at 2 p.m.

This small stone church stands at the southwest corner of the 6th Concession and Sideroad 12 & 13 in the Town of the Blue Mountains.

This gathering, held each year since 1971 on the second Sunday in July, provides one of the few community gatherings at which residents of the area and relatives of the founding families of the community unite for worship and re-connection.

Guest speaker will be Rev Dr. Robert Buchanan, who currently ministers with the St. Paul's Presbyterian congregation in Clarksburg.  Special music will be provided.

The afternoon will conclude with a potluck picnic supper and time of fellowship at Silver Springs Farm, the home of James and Joan McKinlay.  Everyone is invited to attend.  Further information can be obtained by calling 519-599-6236.
