A three-day lineup of free blues concerts takes place at the Village at Blue Mountain.

Beaver Valley Outreach is holding a Yard/Bake Sale at 25 Alfred St. W from 8 a.m. till Noon Please come out and help support this charity event.

St. George's Anglican Church in Clarksburg is holding a garden party and yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon, and a fish fry from 4:30-7:30 p.m. For more information call 519-599-3047.

The Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic takes place at the Raven at Lora Bay. The event will feature about 160 pro golfers competing on the Nationwide Tour for $809,000 in prize money.

Canada Day Barbecuce takes place at the Ravenna General store from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sat., July 5
St. George's Anglican Church presents a Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are available at Pharmasave and Jessica's Book Nook.

The Blue Mountains Chili Cookoff takes place at the Village at Blue Mountain and will raise money for the Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club. For more information, click the link.

Sunday, July 13
Rock Union Church holds its 110th-Anniversary Service at 2 p.m.. The speaker is Rev. Dr. Robert Buchanan. A potluck picnic supper will follow at the McKinlay's Silver Springs Farm, corner of 6th Concession and 12 & 13 Sideroad (one mile south, two miles east of Ravenna). July-August

Summer sailing classes for children and young people - weekly during July and August at Meaford Harbour. Half-day and full-day classes available. Let our certified instructors use our sailboats to introduce you to the pleasures of sailing! Sail Georgian Bay is a non-profit community organization dedicated to teaching the fun of safe sailing.
