The Meaford Lawn Bowling Club, situated behind the Esso Station on Sykes St., would like to invite everyone to learn the game and rules of lawn bowling. We are holding clinics in June on the  11th, 18th and the 25th at 7 p.m. Come on out and see what fun you can have. Remember to wear flat shoes.

The Beaver Valley Athletic Association will be hosting a Memorial Baseball Day. This will be a day for enjoying the great game of baseball and for remembering those who are no longer here to enjoy it with us. This day will see all teams playing, from T-Ball to Midget, and all three diamonds in use. There will also be a raffle table and a food booth. 

The schedule for the day is:  9 a.m. Peewees vs. Collingwood;  10:30 a.m. Junior Rookies vs. Stayner; 12 noon  Tykes vs. Collingwood #2; 1;30 p.m. T-Ball practice; 3 p.m. Sr. Rookies vs. Collingwood; and 4:30 p.m. Midgets vs. Collingwood.  It will be a day to enjoy some great baseball and watch these emerging players.  Come out and support baseball in our community and cheer on the home teams.

11th-annual Rocklyn Classic Car and Tractor Show, Rocklyn Fair Grounds, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Brunch served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. $6 adults, $3 kids 3-12 years, exhibitors welcome, no fee; free admission to drivers. Admission $3, $10 per family.
