A large quantity of stolen property was recovered after two people were arrested Thursday, in connection with a string of automotive break-ins in the area.

Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP say they recovered a large quantity of stolen property. It is believed many of the items recovered were as a result of car entries being investigated by the detachment.

Two adults had been arrested and taken into custody.

An 18-year-old woman from Wasaga Beach is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of marihuana, and unauthorized possession of weapon, and will appear in Provincial Court Collingwood on the June 10.

A 28-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of marijuana, and unauthorized possession of weapon.

Persons wanting to view the recovered items should attend Collingwood/The Blue Mountains Detachment between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, or call for an appointment at 1-705-445-4321.
